Samsung Galaxy XCover 3 smartphone super resistant: Specifications

Samsung Galaxy XCover 3 smartphone super resistant

Samsung Galaxy XCover 3 unveiled with all its main hardware specifications; Android is a smartphone designed for those who want a device very durable and more affordable price of a Galaxy S5 or S4 Active.

Samsung Galaxy XCover 3 is the refresh of the Galaxy XCover2, released in January 2013, and is a smartphone that want to cover that segment of consumers who want a device particularly resistant and can be used in various conditions, but still do not want to spend much money buying for example a Galaxy S5 or S4 Active.

Substantially the Korean company has done so to renew this range of products that did not update for several months; of this new device we already know its main hardware features, but unfortunately we do not know its sale price and where and when it will be marketed.

Samsung Galaxy XCover 3, code-named company SM-G338F, would be presented with a screen 4.8-inch diagonal and a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels (a little ‘natural fiber but enough) and a quad core Cortex A53 running the alleged frequency maximum of 1.2 GHz chipset Marvell Armada PXA1908 combined with 1GB of RAM.

Inside there is 8GB of memory (we do not know if it will be expandable with microSD but we think highly of it) and the multimedia sector has a rear camera with autofocus and LED flash and a 5 mega pixel front camera of 2 mega pixels.

As the operating system should be present since its release Android KitKat 4.4.4 with TouchWiz interface but we believe strongly, since the chipset is compatible with 64-bit encoding, that the smartphone will be updated in the future to Android 5.0 Lollipop version.

From what I can understand you too, the phone in question is not pointing in the least on the hardware features that are sufficiently developed for an average low, but on the characteristics of resistance, water resistance that would permit the use in conditions that ordinary mobile phones would risk break or not work; those who want these products is not too much to look at the design or if the camera records video in ultra hd, just want a product that will always work in some extreme situations.

Expect more information in the coming weeks on the Samsung Galaxy XCover 3, a device that is definitely niche but could have some success among consumers concerned that they have a more limited budget.
