LG G4 new rumors: 3K display with over 600 PPI

LG G4 new rumors

The next flagship smartphone LG G4 could debut on the market with a new record; be the first device in the world to have a display resolution 3K and a PPI of 600 points; the rumors.

LG according to some recent rumors want to get a new record in the landscape of mobile devices; after being the first company to market a smartphone with dual-core processor, with the first display in 3D seems now that points to the announcement of the first terminal with a display or 3K with a resolution of 2880 x 1620 pixels, ensuring on paper (if the panel will be about 5.5 inches) for a pixel density of 600 PPI.

A user agent profile on the official website of the Korean company would show in fact a new product, code-named LG VS999, which would be the alphanumeric serial products destined to the United States, given that the current LG G3 sold by Verizon (telephone operator and distributor American) has the corporate code VS985.

There are therefore clear possibility that VS999 is the future LG G4 that as new value added, compared to the current G3, will have a display even more resolute and a more powerful chipset (it speaks of the use of the Octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor with GPU Adreno 430).

LG G4 new rumors

This news would justify in part the recent rumors of a “mini” version of LG G4, or the model G4s (article that you can read here) that would display a full HD 1920 x 1080 pixels and the same Snapdragon 810 processor; LG G4 would differ from the S version thanks to a display with 2880 x 1620 pixel resolution 3K and maybe a little more generous in size (5.7 to 5.9 inches) to make direct competition to phablet more advanced as the Galaxy Note 4.

For us, the tendency of producers to increase the resolution so quickly in terms of density per pixel of the display has become excessive; already with a resolution of Full HD 1920 x 1080 pixels many devices have a visual quality quite good, since many people fail to distinguish with the panels with qHD resolution 2560 x 1440 pixels; point to display more and more resolute is then just a matter of marketing and not a real benefit to the consumer.

Since LG G4 has not yet been made official by the Korean, we invite you to take all of this information as possible, but not certain; in fact we do not know if this information applies to a prototype or a product completely different from what you expect.
