The Samsung smartwatch circular - some features

The smartwatch new generation of Samsung will be circular and not square as the current Gear S; here are some of the software features unveiled the new device.

In view of the smartwatch we are moving progressively from initial design to square one circular, given that recently many large manufacturers of wearable accessories like Motorola and LG have invested a lot of this type of design, to resemble these devices in real wristwatches, but with much more advanced functions.

Even Samsung, one of the first ever to present to the general public their smartwatch to match its flagship smartphone series Galaxy S and Galaxy Note, is developing a new wearable circular with some new features and software implementations, to make it even smarter.

Homescreen

The circular smartwach Samsung, the so-called project “Orbis” will bring some changes in the management of the home screen; it will be possible with a swipe from the top down to lower a menu for quick settings that will allow you to change certain settings such as the brightness of the display, bluetooth, check the battery level, activate the do not disturb.

Then making a swipe from the bottom you can see the latest applications used as already seen in recent Gear S; more thanks to the ring it will be possible, by making a slight rotation to the right, see an application at a time, while with a more lively rotation may see up to 3 applications used to time; lightly pressing the power button you can then close this menu.

When we are in the main menu on the home screen by rotating the ring to the right you can enter the menu of widgets and within this by rotating the ring to the left you will instead have more information on the widget in use.

Receiving a call

When we are receiving a phone call with the new circular smartwatch Samsung you can turn the ring of the clock to the right to reject the call and possibly send a predetermined text message to apologize or indicate the reason for rejection; to end a call, simply press on the ring, and to accept a call there is still nothing now unveiled; most likely when the software and the product will be complete we will know more.

Music Player

Enabled the application of the media player, turning left or right ring of smartwatch will allow you to change the music file you are listening; making a swipe from the top down in my music will always have a number of options such as access to playlists, individual songs, albums, artists and so on.

The ring of circular smartwach Samsung still has many other functions, such as alarm management, clock, widget dedicated to the weather and to manage devices connected to smartwatch.
