The new Sony Xperia Z4 Japanese company Sony is getting closer to becoming reality. The FCC, one of the major US agencies as far as certification of electronic devices is concerned, has given the green light to the marketing of a smartphone model PM-0850-BV which incorporates a version of operating system numbering 25.0. A.0.33. Given that the Android 5.0 Lollipop update Sony Xperia Z3 answer numbering 23.1._._.___, it seems clear that we are talking about a certification of the new Sony Xperia Z4.
In itself, this certification does not reveal new technical specifications of this phone, but confirms that the presentation of Sony Xperia Z4 is imminent. If true the information that has been known so far, the Sony Xperia Z4 will be presented at the Mobile World Congress 2015 to be held during the first days of March of this year.
Moreover, one of the innovations that have been known in relation to the technical specifications of the Sony Xperia Z4 points to a new difference between the version of this phone that hit Europe and the version that will come to America. At first it was said that the European version of Sony Xperia Z4 incorporate a screen 5.2-inch 1,920 x 1,080 pixel resolution (Full HD), while the US version would come with a screen of 5.2 inches with 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution (Quad HD). But beyond that, from the American website PhoneArena also note that there are two versions of the Sony Xperia Z4 with two different RAM capacity: 4 gigabytes of RAM in the US, and 3 gigabytes of RAM in Europe and Asia.
The rest of the features remain intact in both versions. Thus, the Sony Xperia Z4 reach all markets with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor cores with eight 64-bit technology running at 2GHz, Android OS Android 5.0 Lollipop version a 20.7-megapixel main camera, a front five megapixel camera, 3400 mAh battery capacity, certified IP68 improved resistance to water and dust and a total of four body colors: white, black, blue-purple and gold.
Sony is expected to present its new flagship, the Sony Xperia Z4 at the Mobile World Congress 2015 (MWC 2015) Technological event being held on 2 and 5 March. Still remains to be seen whether the Japanese company also will use this event to present other novelties such as a successor to the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact (Sony Xperia Z4 Compact, perhaps?). Hopefully the recent rumors about the internal problems of the mobile division of Sony not influence the products which are scheduled to be presented in the next MWC 2015.
