Tech-Boom: Review Samsung Galaxy S5 Active. Stylish Smartphone special purpose

This model is available in three colors: green “under the camouflage” gray “titanium” and ruby red. The main elements that hint at increased security smartphone are reinforced plastic lining on the corners, straight (with small grooves for added rigidity) edge, solid flat back cover and the physical navigation keys.

Unlike the Galaxy S4 Active, the new model lacks convex back cover, as well as more vibrant colors of the housing. Galaxy S5 Active is not so safe and comfortable in the hand, which at first gives some discomfort. Fortunately, the physical keys are very comfortable, responsive and pleasant to press. Some users may not like the lack of a fingerprint scanner, which is convenient to use to lock and unlock the device.

In addition to the navigation keys below the display, the shell has a short “rocker” volume adjustment, “active” button on the left side (of which more later), and the power button at the traditional location on the right. On the upper side of the body located headset jack and an IR port, and on the lower side – the port MicroUSB.

For example, the app “Flashlight” allows you to adjust the brightness of the light, control the frequency of the flashing light, and even use Morse code. Powerful 4-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 801 with 2.5 GHz not only provides instant response to applications, but also provides a great gaming experience. The battery pack has a capacity of 2800 mAh, which is enough for 15 hours of video playback away from an outlet.

The quality of communication raises no objections: and I and my interlocutors pointed out a great voice, without distortion or background noise. Speaker phone is very loud and provides high-quality and clear sound. Noise busy station or a car engine conversation did not exactly hurt either.

Camera

The quality and functionality of the smartphone’s camera is no different from the cameras installed in the usual model Galaxy S5. The main 16-megapixel boasts a host of shooting modes and a variety of filters. It can shoot video in UHD up to 2160p (the default is mode 1080p). The quality of pictures and videos – are wonderful.
