patent Google Glass with integrated projector

Smart glasses Google, it seems not a priority for the company these days; it pays more attention Android Lollipop, Android Wear and Chrome. However, a new patent suggests that Internet giant multinational Mountain View could be making a version of the Google Glass with integrated projector.

This license was filed in April 2013 but not released until a few days ago. The accompanying images suggest it could be improved or modified version of smartglasses of Google; you will hit a small glass with a projector that will frame glasses.

Then, in the text of the patent explains that the purpose of the product could be sharing information with the people you have around you. The truth is that, even though the Google Glass have many features, is not particularly easy to share files with them.

This new feature can even improve the way you use them, as they will be able to create group activities. For example, users will have the ability to display video or photos, which will share content with friends and family. Google says the aim is to project the image seen on the screen on a wall or flat surface.

Although there is no guarantee that this patent will be developed in the short term, could always be possible. In fact, while the Mountain View company is focusing on smaller updates like gesture controls or software changes.

The smart clothing is still under testing and costs a lot more than what consumers are willing to pay. The Glass Google have entered the market at a price that is around $ 1,500 (1,200 euros), so it may still be too high for most users money.

However, the Mountain View company not to incorporate new features to their smart glasses. The latest update is that they have obtained the wearable to receive any notice of our mobile Android, Google’s software for smartphones and tablets.

Again, Google might want to find functionality to a product that is still finding its place in the market. And the potential is visible because it is a wireless device that can surf the web or take pictures without using hands. However, neither the developers themselves know very well how they will use in the near future. In fact, the great debate is whether the Google Glass will be more useful in a home or in one job.

Besides all this, the company also has to overcome the social stigma attached to wear a product you’re not used to, since not every day you see someone with a Google Glass.
