When we talk about smartglasses, we all come to mind the Google Glass, but these glasses have a slight problem with Google, and they are too expensive for most consumers. However, it is not the only model smartglasses that exists in the market, there are other less well known types of manufacturers, such as Vuzix.
The last time we talk about these smartglasses was in July, when Vuzix in partnership with Lenovo introduced the Lenovo Smart Glass M100, well, these smartglasses just been certified by the CQC / CCC, meaning that they are ready for market.
The Vuzix M100 will be the first smart to hit the Chinese market glasses, and that is certainly a major achievement as the requirements for the CQC certification you are very high. Leaving aside all this, we focus on the specifications of these smartglasses.
The Vuzix M100, have 16: 9 screen with a WQVGA resolution, which would be equivalent to a 4-inch screen on a smartphone. It also has a 5 megapixel camera capable of recording 720p content. Inside we have a dual core processor at 1GHz, 1GB of RAM, motion sensors, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and operate under the version of Android 4.0.4 ICS receiver, but the company may and has upgraded to a more recent version of Android.
For now, this is all we know about these interesting smart glasses, but we should not take in more information about them, such as price.
