Apple Company introduced the Apple Watch and IPhone 6 in the month of September. However, while the iPhone hit stores a few days later, as is usual in the release of the brand, Apple Watch will not be on sale until 2015. The WatchKit SDK has come to Apple’s registered developers along with the first beta version of iOS 8.2. This toolkit allows you to create applications for Apple Watch, exploiting all its functions. Now we know that the larger model has 390 x 312 pixel resolution, while the more compact is 320 x 272 pixels. The two screens will have the nickname “Retina”, in reference to its pixel density, but for now this fact is not known. The resolution is fairly evenly matched with other competing models such as the LG G Watch R (320 x 320 pixels), the Motorola Moto 360 (320 x 290 pixels) or the Samsung Galaxy Gear Live (320 x 320 pixels).
In WatchKit also come specifics about different ways of interacting with the device. Apple Watch can distinguish between a short and a long look, and keep the screen on longer or shorter. Various touch gestures, simple touch or tap pressure, digital crown and Siri are also described. The watch includes a crown block on the side, like the thread of classic watches.
