Windows 10 Consumer Preview Release Expected In Early 2015


Many people know that shortly after the official announcement of Windows 10, Microsoft has published a test build of Windows 10 Technical Preview, designed for developers and beta testers. This version of the system is not stable, and the company is not liable for performance issues and possible loss of data, so ordinary users to install the latest version of the OS is not recommended. Everything can change in the beginning of next year, when the company Redmond reportedly resource WinBeta, will release a more stable build of Windows 10 Consumer Preview. This is a preliminary version of the software, which may be significant changes to the release of the official version, but includes most of the features and functions of the final assembly.


It is expected that in the first builds of Windows 10 Consumer Preview will be integrated voice assistant Cortana, will be processed the Start menu and will be available function Continuum, which allows to switch between interfaces for desktop and tablet. Other changes will affect the notification center, desktop and user interface.



 In the user beta increase overall system stability and performance. Microsoft has not commented on this post.


 Simultaneously, the company is actively working to improve the version Technical Preview, which will form the basis of future versions of the OS. A few days ago Microsoft released an update in which it became possible compression of files of Windows 10 that allows the release of up to 2 GB on the hard drive after a single execution procedure.
