German company Medion has today before the official start of the IFA 2014 book introduced two new tablets and one 300 degree foldable touch touch. They are coming to the German market, respectively in the 4th quarter. Whether only the direct sale by the manufacturer or an offer is planned in the Aldi stores, is not yet clear. The Medion Akoya E1233T the company has introduced in any case is the first pure Windows 8.1 Tablet.
Medion Akoya E1233T
The Medion Akoya E1233T has a 10.1-inch Ahva IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. This makes it one of the few Windows 8.1 tablets on the market that offer such a high resolution in size. Although it is not installed digitizer, but still puts a Medion Touch Stylus with it. This is however only recognizes like a normal finger. The tablet is powered but still of an Intel Bay Trail Z3735F quad-core processor, clocked at up to 1.83 GHz per core and one of the weakest models in the class. There are 2 GB of RAM but just 64GB of internal memory.In any case, do not expect too much power with this combination. The internal memory can also be expanded via microSD card.
Other features of the Medion Akoya E1233T include a micro USB 2.0 port, an HDMI port, WiFi 802.11n and Bluetooth 4.0. The operating system is Windows 8.1 to use, plus there is one year access to Office 365 and an extensive software package. The weight is 560 grams, while the tablet can achieve a running time of up to 7 hours. On the back there is also a 5 MP main camera, while at the front; a 2 MP camera is housed. As an accessory, you will be an optional Folio case for protection and a Bluetooth keyboard offer. What will it cost accessories is not known. The Tablet is available for 299 €.
Medion Akoya P2213T 300 degree Touch Notebook
The Medion Akoya P2213T has basically the next generation of 8.1 Transformer previous Windows presented in which the hinge of the keyboard docks further folded leaves up to 300 degrees. Medion S7321 Lifetab JuniorTab
