Wiko Highway Signs

Wiko Highway Signs

The European brand Wiko has become a reference in the market of free phones with Android. They have a very diverse portfolio and that they carry in our country a little over a year. Within its range are terminals several ranges, especially middle and basic, but there are also more advanced equipment such as Wiko Highway which was introduced earlier this year and carries a processor no less than eight cores. The company has reissued this model betting on some more basic components, so that its price is set. We see all the details of the new Wiko Highway Signs.

 Display and Design

The Wiko Highway Signs has an IPS display, a technology that improves color reproduction, viewing angle and movement. It has a diagonal of 4.7 inches and its resolution is HD, corresponding to 1,280 x 720 pixels. With this configuration we have a display with 312 dots per inch density, which is not bad. It also has a sheet of glass resistant Corning Gorilla Glass 2, from appearing on their surface scratches or breakage by an unexpected blow.

Who said that economic motives are flimsy and unattractive designs? The Wiko Highway Signs is proof that the design does not conflict with more reasonable prices. Device has an aluminum frame that provides strength and is very aesthetic. The back is covered with hardened glass that gives a reflective finish reminiscent of the Sony Xperia. The team is very thin (7.6 mm) and weighs only 124 grams. Wiko market this model in our country in white or dark gray.

 Camera and Multimedia

The camera of Highway Signs Wiko has eight megapixels of resolution, is one of the changes compared to the original Wiko Highway, which had 16 megapixel cameras. The sensor is accompanied by an LED flash for the camera to use at night or in low light. It also has other basic functions like auto focus, digital zoom (four gains), image editor, face detector mode or HDR. Also Wiko added special features like beauty mode, arranging portraits by smoothing the skin. It also has a timer that is activated when we make V gesture with fingers, designed to selfies. Speaking of selfies the Wiko Highway Signs features a five-megapixel front camera.

The Wiko Highway Signs has the same profile media than the original model, and most brand models. It supports the formats of audio, video and images more common, to have no trouble playing any file. It also has improved 3D sound, FM radio with stereo sound and voice dictation.

 Power and memory

The power is one of the keys Wiko Highway Signs, is that just like its big brother, this model has a processor of no less than eight cores. It is a Cortex A7 operating at 1.4 Ghz. however your RAM is 1 GB. Not bad but would not hurt to have 2 GB.

The internal memory is 8 GB, higher than we are accustomed in Wiko figure and one of the highlights of this team. You can expand the memory to 32 GB extra if you use cards MicroSD, but with the space that we provide can already save enough data.

 Reviews

Wiko proposes a new mid-range smartphone, inspired by its full model but with a more affordable price. The design with aluminum frame and glass is one of its strengths, is that you rarely find this level smartphones with attractive looks and quality materials. The eight-core processor is the strong point of the terminal, but does not be fooled by the nuclei, and that sometimes a quad-core can be much faster. In this case it is a Cortex A7 , an architecture that consumes little power and offers good performance, but that is little short with RAM of 1 GB. Otherwise this is a very mobile balanced, with a wide screen, full camera and adequate for its performance, battery all 200 euros.
