With this piece will get sharp photos in low light and videos with smoother movements, without the annoying effect of “trembling”. As mentioned, the lens is very bright with a variable aperture ranging from f / 1.8 in angular to f / 2.8 telephotos. The fact of having such a wide opening allows us to achieve blur effects interesting, creating miniature effects by having a very short depth of field (also known as effect bokeh).

The Canon PowerShot G7 X has system TTL approach detection with 31 points. It also has mode Face detection with tracking for portraits out best. It has the usual ways that are simple, continuous servo AF and touch focus.  The Canon PowerShot G7 X has a CMOS sensor BSI (backlit) measuring an inch, a very large size do not usually found in compact cameras, although this model is not compact either. Its construction BSI eliminates unnecessary to reach the greatest possible amount of light layers, so you can make better pictures in low light. The sensor covers 20.2 megapixels in 4: 3 formats, so that the resulting images will be very spacious. Is accompanied by a DIGIC 6 iSAPS technology, a piece with the low light performance is improved by avoiding even the appearance of noise at higher sensitivities (maximum is ISO 12800).

 Design and Display

The Canon PowerShot G7 X is a pocket camera with a compact design, but we have seen that this does not mean that its components are not up to larger chambers. Its shape is quite rectangular with rounded corners and the chassis is metal, so it is very sturdy. The camera measures 103 x 60.4 x 40.4 millimeters and weighs 304 grams if you count the battery and memory card. The controls are split between the top, where there is a scene selection dial, and back, with more buttons and touch screen.

 Reviews

Proposes a Canon compact camera height , with interesting features and high quality parts, as its lens aperture f / 1.8. Their sensor is very large, more than many bridge cameras and also bright. Canon fits these pieces in a more compact chassis that has no viewfinder, so we’ll have to do the frame through the screen, which is also touch. The shooting modes and wireless connections complete a very handy and versatile camera, but yes, a bit expensive, 700 euros no less.
