Know further the technical specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Mega 2.

 Display and Design

The Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 comes with a screen six inches to reach a resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels. We are facing a large screen that is halfway between screens of smart phones and tablet screens, and it is for this reason that it is said that this mobile is a “phablet”. Such screens are primarily intended to use in workplace, allowing leverage both the advantages of a mobile (portability, calls, wireless Internet) as the advantages of a tablet (large screen, support many productivity applications, good autonomy).

In terms of its design, the Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 maintains the habitual aspect that characterizes the range mobile Galaxy of Samsung. In the front of the terminal we have a Home button that have not yet been able to confirm that do function  digital fingerprint , while both sides have the touch Menu key (located on the left) and key Touch Retreat (located on the right). On the back we find a plastic housing with imitation leather which is quite similar to that incorporated the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.’S is located on the right side button lock screen; while on the left side we have the volume button.

The measures of the Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 are established in  163.6 x 84.9 x 8.6 mm , which is even higher than the  153.5 x 78.6 x 8.5 mm in size with that comes the recently released marking Samsung Galaxy Note 4 .’S Samsung Mega Galaxy 2 will be available in stores in two versions: a version with white housing (Cosmic Black) and another version with black housing (Blizzard White).

 Camera and Multimedia

The Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 comes with two cameras. The main camera is located at the back of the phone, and inside it has a sensor of eight megapixels which is capable of taking pictures with a maximum resolution of 3,264 x 2,448 pixels (plus videos with a resolution of 1,080 pixels). Some of the options that incorporate the main chamber of Mega 2 are the autofocus, the geotagging or face detection. This camera is also accompanied by an LED flash, principally to improve the lighting of pictures taken indoors.

In the front of the Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 we find the second camera of this mobile, the front camera. This camera is much simpler than the main camera, and has proven so that sensor incorporates a 2.1 megapixel camera that offers a quality sufficient for tasks such as video calls.

As usual in this type of phones, the Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 incorporates a media player that is compatible with video formats (MPEG-4, WMV) and audio (MP3, WAV) most popular network.

 Power and memory

The built-in processor Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 has been developed by the company Samsung and responds to the name of Exynos 4415. This is a processor of four cores running at a clock speed of 1.5 GHz, and in this case comes accompanied by a memory RAM whose capacity is set at 1.5 gigabytes. The graphics processor, in turn, responds to the name of Mali-400 MP4. We are facing some performance characteristics that fit into what we understand today as the mid-range mobile phone. This means that the Mega 2 is able to provide a good performance for any type of use, though not to the power that can deliver a processor such as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 running at 2.7 GHz (ie, the processor that incorporates Samsung Galaxy Note 4).

The internal storage capacity of the Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 is set in 16 gigabytes, which translates into more than enough to store both multimedia files (images, videos, etc.) and text documents very long space. Still, the Mega 2 also incorporates a slot for external memory cards microSD whose capacity seems to be established in the 128 gigabytes.

 Operating System and Applications

Android is the operating system that we installed as standard in most smartphones of Samsung, and in the case of the Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 we find this operating system in the latest version of Android 4.4.4 KitKat. This is a slightly improved version of Android 4.4.2 KitKat, although the only differences between the two versions reside in small safety improvements aimed at increasing the protection of users against threats that exist for this operating system.

Installed apps standard on the Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 correspond to apps that Google comes standard in virtually all bringing their mobile operating system. Applications such as Gmail, Google Maps, Hangouts, Google Chrome or Google Drive are just one example of all the applications that the user can access from this mobile. In addition, through Google Play store you can download hundreds of applications completely free.

But the interface of the Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 highlights another detail: all the options incorporating face to facilitate use of the mobile user. A six-inch display has the advantage that it may allow use two applications simultaneously, which is possible thanks to the multi-window mode by which the user can see on the screen two applications simultaneously. But on the other hand, such a large screen may offer some management problems (especially if you use the phone with one hand), and therefore Samsung has decided to incorporate in the Mega 2 some options to tailor the content of the display for possible use with one hand. To all this we must also add the Ultra-mode Battery Saver, which has already met with the arrival of Samsung Galaxy S5.

 Connectivity and autonomy

The Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 supports connectivity 4G LTE, which means it, works with ultra-fast Internet and, therefore, is capable of download speeds of up to 150 Mbps. Moreover, it is also connectivities compatible with 3G and WiFi, which also allow you to surf the net. The other wireless connectivity of this smartphone is summarized in Bluetooth 4.0 and the GPS (with technologies A-GPS and GLONASS).

As regards physical connectivity, if you look at the slots Mega 2 we find that has an entry card Micro-SIM, an output minijack of 3.5 mm (ie, an audio output), an entry card microSD and an outlet microUSB 2.0 that allows both charging and transferring files battery housed inside the phone.

The Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 incorporates a battery with 2800 mAh capacity. For now Samsung has not released official figures of autonomy, so you have to wait a few weeks to know the number of hours that is capable of running this mobile after a full charge.

 Price and Availability

Still not aware of any price or release date of the smartphone Samsung Mega Galaxy 2 . We must still wait a few weeks to learn all about the smartphone before it will appear on the European market. At the moment we only have confirmation that this smartphone will be available in Asian territory.
