Ricoh has introduced a new digital camera G800. This fortified device which is the successor of the previously released Ricoh G700. The new model is able to work in adverse conditions: it is protected from water, dust and shock – can work under water to a depth of 5 meters to 2 hours, and not afraid of falling from a height of 2 meters. But that’s not all: Ricoh G800 is protected from damage by certain chemicals, including, can be disinfected and used in sterile conditions. The camera can be used in hospitals, in the factories, construction sites, in areas of natural disasters and so on.

 Camera Ricoh G800 is equipped with 16-megapixel 1 / 2.3-inch CMOS-sensor, and besides the photos it can also shoot Full HD-video. At the same time, the survey can be conducted even in low light conditions. The model is equipped with a lens with a focal length of 28-140 mm, 3-inch display and a built-in memory, which is a rare among modern compact cameras. The memory capacity is 8 GB, if it is not enough, you can use the SD-card. Dimensions of the compact are protected 118,8x71x41 mm, and weight – 318 grams. Ricoh G800 will cost 599.99 pounds; start of sales is scheduled for October of this year.
