We can finally see live the new fitness tracker Toshiba WERAM1100, of which we had already reported in August, when it was officially announced. Since then, however, he had not heard anything. In recent days, however a Japanese site has published several photosof wearable, the documentation has also appeared on the website of the FCC (Federal Communications Commission), the certification body that deals with the US to approve all the products that are to achieve the internal market. So here we are, the debut of Toshiba WERAM1100 is near.
The bracelet looks quite classical in appearance, being composed of a core real and a strap rubberized material, which guarantees the smartband resistance to ingress of liquids and dust according to the standards IPX5 / IPX7. It should be noted immediately that, unlike other similar products, the WERAM1100 has a quick-release closure as that of chronographs, a very interesting peculiarity.
Available in four colors black, white, pink and blue, the Toshiba WERAM1100 is able to monitor our physical activity, the distance traveled and calories burned by the user but can also check the state of sleep / wake. Thanks also dedicated app, fitness tracker is also able to synchronize the information on your smartphone via Bluetooth, displaying the data collected in the form of graphs. The app also allows you to upload photos and even enter the caloric values of the meals, as well as a diet combined with physical activity.
Observing the manual on the FCC website also discover that the WERAM1100, which has no display but a simple circular LED that communicates through light codes of different colors, will be sold bundled with a charging cable and a USB / microUSB . The Toshiba WERAM1100, which vibrates to the achievement of an objective, and can also serve as alarm clock, is also able to work for two weeks with a single charge.
