TDK NC360 new noise canceling headphones

TDK NC360 new noise canceling headphones

Designed for listening to our music abroad without interruption, the new TDK NC360 headphones are internal type also equipped with an advanced active noise cancellation. This feature overrides or block external sounds so we can hear our favorite topics more clearly. They also have a handy mute button to stop or playback, and are available in white or black colors. Its price, just 50 euros, makes it an interesting choice when choosing small but capable headphones.

As seen in the photos, the new TDK NC360 headphones are internal type, ie those who are placed inside the ear. Although the design matters little in this type of equipment, it must be said that the NC360 remember the other teams in the catalog of the Japanese TDK, especially if we choose the black finish. The cable includes a small controller where we find the “Mute” button to mute the audio, the “NC ON” button to activate or deactivate noise cancellation, and a compartment for the battery that powers this cancellation system.

And the noise cancellation system offered by TDK NC360 is the active type, ie, that cannot simply reduce the noise or sound external environment. We are talking about a process that requires an external power supply. This system is based on a microphone that picks up ambient noise and plays through the headphones but reversing the phase of the audio waveform 180 degrees, so that the two waves coincide with inverted phases, and therefore cancel the sound produced is canceled.

Following the technical characteristics, the TDK NC360 incorporate speakers or 13.5 mm drivers and offer a frequency response of 20 to 20,000 Hertz . The sensitivity is 1 kHz and impedance of 150 Ohms with noise cancellation switched off and 16 Ohms when activated. Besides active cancellation system, the NC360 features a practical function called “Mute” mutes the headphones so that we can answer a question quickly without lowering the volume on the player. To turn the sound, simply to press the “Mute” button. The cable ends in the usual stereo minijack plug 3.5 mm.

As mentioned earlier in this post, the new TDK NC360 is available in white or black colors. With headphones a handy trip and three sets of silicone tips in different sizes so we can use them comfortably delivered. It also includes an adapter to use the NC360 with the entertainment system of the aircraft, an environment that certainly appreciate the noise cancellation system.

The TDK NC360 are already available, and approximate retail price is 50 euros public.
