LG launched eight series 4K LED TVs with WebOS

LG launched eight series 4K LED TVs

LG will present a set of new televisions to early next year. The South Korean company wants to strengthen its portofolio of LED TVs with 4K and Web OS 2.0. This is the UC9, UB9800, UF9500, UF9400, UF8500, UF7700, UF6700 and UF6800 series, all with this powerful resolution and flat format (there are no indications that will launch a curved TV). In addition to the software, we must also emphasize the use of new technologies such as Quantum Dots and Color Prime to improve color reproduction. In line with this presentation we will also have new details about LG Art Slim panels 55 and 65 inches, with really thin thickness of 7.5 mm and 8.2 mm respectively.

The CES in Las Vegas is coming and it shows in the amount of leakage and previous data that reach our ears. LG has left us a sample of their new line of TVs for 2015, among which include eight new series of LED TVs with powerful 4K. These series are UC9, UB9800, UF9500, UF9400, UF8500, UF7700, UF6700 and UF6800. All have the resolution that has become so fashionable and four times the level of detail of a traditional Full HD panel. Experience in some scenes is comparable to what would have to be looking at a window to the real world.

Another key that bring these LED TVs is that all bet for a flat format with very thin frames . Currently, no data on a possible curved pattern, a trend that is starting to take market power. What we do know is that the company will deploy two interesting technologies to improve color reproduction. The first is Quantum Dots, which uses crystalline materials that emit different colors depending on particle size. This way of reproducing the color is more vibrant and full that we get with traditional filters. Furthermore, the second technology called ColorPrime encompasses Quantum Dots with other characteristics of the panel to provide a color range 30% higher than traditional panels. In his bowels find the new version of Web OS 2.0 for TVs, an intuitive and flexible platform that has received good reviews.

Five of the new series coming to market with Ultra Surround audio system designed by the prestigious firm Harman Kardon . So far we have few details on this system and the power reaching, but can become a major selling point since the audio is usually one of the weaknesses of many models on the market (and forcing many to complete the TV experience through a sound bar).

In addition to these series, LG will also leverage the framework of the CES to present more details on its new line of TVs LG Art Slim. In this case, we are against teams that want to challenge the limits of the market with really thin and slim designs. And, for example, 55 inch televisions have a thickness of 7.5 mm (as the finest smartphones panorama) and weighs 10.4 kilos, while the 65-inch panel is placed in the 8.2 mm and will weigh 16.2 kilos.
