Samsung monitors with AMD technology

The Korean giant Samsung has recently announced an agreement with the American company AMD to incorporate synchronization technology in their next image FreeSync resolution monitors with UHD (Ultra High Definition). The goal is to accelerate the response and fluidity of the images on screen and reduce annoying tearing effect on the whole when playing video games. This technology will start to be implemented in all models of the UD590 and UE850 series that will appear next month of March 2015.

Samsung already has officially announced that their upcoming monitors with resolution UHD (Ultra High Definition) will incorporate the FreeSync synchronization technology AMD American image, which improves the response of the display especially during games. The announcement was released to the public in Singapore during the Future of Compute event organized by the same AMD and where Korea’s Samsung participated to bring your vision precisely the field of computer monitors.

Although AMD surely the name will be familiar to computer enthusiasts, is not more to remember here what this American company is dedicated. AMD (Advanced Micro Devices) is a multinational company engaged in the design of computer components such as processors for desktops, laptops and servers, graphics cards, and also components for tablets, game consoles or data servers in the cloud, give an example.

To do this, AMD brings FreeSync technology that corrects the effect named tearing. This annoying effect, or rather default occurs when the refresh rate of the data being sent to the screen does not match the monitor itself, causing a poor synchronization between the two devices and thus showing defects or artifacts the image.

As we indicated earlier in this post, Samsung begin implementing the FreeSync technology in the new ultra high definition monitors which plans to launch next year. Specifically, models that incorporate and this improvement shall be taken for the UD590 series, with versions 23.6 and 28 inches, and the UE850, with screens 23.6, 27 and 31.5 inches.
