On the website of the Dutch Samsung representative has information about the new version of the flagship smartphone – Galaxy S5 Plus. The apparatus according to tradition, offers improved “iron”: a more modern chip Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 and support LTE-networks at speeds up to 300 Mbit / s.
Samsung released the Galaxy S5 Plus – an updated version of its flagship smartphone in 2014, presented in February. Difference between the new models is more powerful chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon 805. novelty has internal markings G901F – the same as that presented in Singapore about two months ago, Galaxy S5 4G +.
Snapdragon 805 and Snapdragon 801- which is equipped with Galaxy S5 – with 4 cores and runs at the same frequency, 2.5 GHz. The model 805 uses the core Krait 450, model 801 – Krait 400.
In addition, chipset Snapdragon 805 support JavaScript LTE Advanced Category 6, which provides data rates up to 300 Mbit / s. It is twice more than that of the original model with a modem LTE Cat. 4, limiting Internet access speed of 150 Mbit / s.
As the flagship, Galaxy S5 Plus is equipped with a 5.1-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (432 ppi), 2 GB RAM and the battery capacity of 2800 mAh.
According to the manufacturer, offline Galaxy S5 Plus is able to work up to 13 hours while surfing the web on Wi-Fi, or up to 13 hours when playing video.
While Galaxy S5 Plus is only available in the Netherlands. It will be available in the same colors as the original Galaxy S5. The cost of new items and release date of the sale were not disclosed.
