The Yamaha CD-N301 is a CD player with ability to serve networked audio.  Yamaha CD-N301 supports many audio file formats: MP3, WMA, AAC, FLAC and WAV. The sampling frequency can be between 8 and 48 kHz for MP3, WMA and AAC. But for FLAC and WAV (higher quality formats), ranging from 8-192 kHz. Moreover, it can operate with audio files with a resolution of 16 bit word, but if they are FLAC or WAV, it can also be 24 bits. In all cases, the playback is continued.


 The frequency response when the CD is used, ranging from 2-20000 Hz, whereas when networked, runs from 2-96000 Hz (where audio is concerned with a frequency of 192 kHz).
