Samsung shows the performance of the camera Samsung Galaxy S5

The Samsung Galaxy S5 was introduced by the company Samsung last February. The fifth generation of this smartphone excels in many areas. Also in the camera . And it features a 16 megapixel CMOS sensor that allows users to get pictures of 5312 x 2988 pixels and videos UHD 4K 3840 x 2160 pixels. And to show the Korean, just released a short film recorded entirely with the Samsung Galaxy S5. I have titled Sunrise to Sunset or De Sol a Sol in its literal translation into Spanish and is a compilation of images that have been shot in Trieste (Italy), with the aim of showing the operation mode HDR Camera Samsung Galaxy S5. In the recording will not find any spun story, but a lot of feelings captured in stunning landscapes that help us observe the colors and details that this device is able to highlight when recording in HDR mode.

It is true that, as stated at the end of the video, many screenshots are improved. In fact, some fragments suffer from the lack of optical stabilization of the images, especially when one notices that have been captured on board a helicopter. It should be noted, moreover, we do not know if Samsung has made some modification during the editing process. We can indicate, in any case, many of the catches are notable for the vividness of its colors, the many details that are visible and the excellent quality of some pictures that contain dark shadows and are illuminated by a background much brighter. This happens thanks to the way HDR. But what exactly is this feature and how it can take advantage of the users of this computer?

The images of high dynamic range (HDR) are achieved through a series of techniques that help us get a better range in lighting the lighter and darker areas. In fact, what the system is getting the images are much more similar to what the human eye sees , because we should not forget that our optical system is much more prepared to distinguish the details of lighting that any movie format. This feature helps to control the level of intensity that we observe in real scenes, especially in times when direct sunlight is incident or where there is too dim lighting.

And although the HDR mode is nothing new in the world of photography, not so long ago that has been introduced in the chambers of smart mobile phones. Some users have begun to use it excessively when editing the captured images through your phone, so it should be stressed that the ideal will only use when taking pictures of highly contrasting landscapes, portraits in sunlight or in poorly lit scenes.
