Multi-Window in Android tablets, Google's next target

Multi-Window GoogleIt is true that Android devices have seen true multitasking feature windows, Samsung is a good example. But it is certainly a feature that is yet to explode, with screen sizes that are currently handled, is something that can be very useful, especially in tablets, and Google knows it. It takes time to work in a multi-window system but not be in time for the launch of Android L, yes it could be included in any updates.

It is not a novelty, it is true, but it is an important step because developers could include multi-window applications in knowing that many of the tablets (perhaps the phablets as the Nexus 6) officially support the feature. TouchWiz already offers this, Microsoft also made his bet, even both came to mock the Apple iPad, which has led them to start moving and iPhone 6 already has an option that looks like him.

The mechanism that Google has devised, as shown in the screenshots that have been revealed, adjust the size of the two windows in which we could work simultaneously. To our taste? Not exactly, we have to choose if an application uses 25%, 50% or 75% of the screen and the other will fill the remaining space. That is, they can be divided into two equal halves or give more priority to one than the other.

The interaction between the two windows is key to make it something truly usable at users. Some of the features that have the multiscreen native Android system allow for example, copy and move text, pictures or almost any file from one application to another with simple gestures that will be the way to activate the feature, sliding to one side the windows in question.

As we read in AndroidAyuda not seem possible that time is included in the package of improvements to Android L (5.0), in fact, if they had intentions to do so, the Mountain View would have explained the day of the presentation. Yes, the Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 in the market, both with substantial screens, could be a time of outputting a job that extends from 2013.
